Absolutely massive gun show, but nearly half of it did not involve firearms. It looked more like a flea market than an actual gun show. Smaller shows hosted by HGCA and High Caliber manage to be so much better than this show while being a fraction of the size because of this.
If premier can limit the amount of non gun show related junk to be minimal this show could have the potential to be amazing, but until then I have to be honest and give it a one star review.
The terrible parking situation also did not help
Anyone who has been to trade days or traders village would recognize the similarities. Parking is an issue if you’re not used to places like these but personally I see it as the walk of anticipation. And then the walk of happiness having splurged on good equipment I didn’t have prior. This place is a good spot to go to. Pay the measly fees, support the event, and just go have fun.
I travel over our Great Nation and there’s no better place to come and meet Great people and make great friends and learn everything about guns from people who knows what they are talking about!
This is the show I cut my teeth on, have been trading guns there for years. So I guess I am a little bias for Ft. Worth shows
Good show, but gave it up years ago because parking is prohibitive.
I agree with the ‘Parking is prohibitive’. Not only do you have to pay $10 to park a half mile away, you also have to walk that 1/4 to 1/2 mile or so. If you happen to be carrying things for the show you can be worn out before you get to the bldg. And then the show might be a smaller one and only have half the tables. Buyer beware. No refunds
I park in the garage next to the elevators and escalators and you arrive in the lobby – check your guns and walk in. I don’t know how it could be closer or easier. $10 for covered, safe, and secure parking next to the entry is not what I call prohibitive at all. In fact it’s one of my favorite parts of my favorite show! I also noticed no one was folding up to leave early so the entire show was available to the end. Another plus! This was win-win!
Your experience perhaps. But not everyone’s. I’ve seen them fold up an hour or so early lots of times. I’m not a novice to GunShows.
The Ft. Worth show is one of the worst now because of the Parking situation. And participation by dealers is unknown until you walk in. If parking was free I’d have no complaint.
great gun show.i was having fun the whole time.this was the first fort worth gun show me and my brother had ever been to.my brother was really impressed.i actually kept up with him the whole time.keep up the good work.thanks.
If it weren’t for the parking fee, and the walking distance from park to eventI would give this show five stars. There are bigger shows, but this one is big enough. Great selection. Great mix of FFL and private vendors. Emphasis is on guns and ammo, not jewelry (although there is some of that). This is probably my favorite show in Texas.
