Never been to a gun show at all but looking forward to the experience.
I’m glad to know that there are gun shows going on. Especially in this atmosphere of tension and craziness. If I can I plan to be attending this next gun show.
I have been going to gun shows since way back in the early 1970’s and it never gets old. I am also a lifelong woodworker and my wife always comments that I am like a kid in the candy store when it comes to gun shows, woodworking tools and lumberyards…
The gun show is getting stagnant. I’ve been coming to it for the last 5 years, and I’m seeing the same items for sale I saw 5 years ago. The price has gone up, but the variety, size and quality of the items for sale haven’t increased correspondly.
The vast majority of items for sale at gun shows are the same from one show to the next, because the vast majority of tables are engaged by dealers, who display what they carry in their stores, or by a handful of private sellers. That said, I never attend a show in which there is not at least a few items for sale that I have never seen before, and I have been attending gun shows since around 1960, my first one having been held at Wally Pontiff Playground, formerly Metairie Playground. However, one does have to look, and ignore the profusion of AR’s and AK’s.
Been to many of these gun shows, in Kenner, always had a good selection of guns , knifes, and a lot
of other gun related items. Best gun show in the area.
