First time I’ve attended a gun show. It was awesome. There were good deals on everything except ammo. I got me a new holster and an ammo container for a very good deal. The current price of ammo there is more than 4X what I paid for 9mm just a month ago. I’ll hold off on that. Please: For the sake of other first time attenders…. Post the rules or put them some place more obvious. I was not aware that you are not allowed to come in with a loaded weapon, even with CCW. I had an embarrassing moment and fortunately, the Police Officer working security inside the main entrance was pretty understanding and had me step outside to unload before coming back in.
WOW. Great show! I usually hit the SW MI, NW IN shows. This blows em out of the water. The quality and variety of goods was refreshing. Brought home $1500 worth of steel and few other things. If the Lady wasn’t with me it would of been bad. lol,
Very nice show! It’s been sold out several times that I have been and there are always great deals! Vendors are friendly and helpful and I always find something that I want. Highly recommend.
Great gun show. Good variety of vendors. Found these neat magnet holsters so you don’t have to loop it through belt. Also, bought 500-9mm and 500-223 from fox river ammo. Some of the cleanest ammo I’ve shot. Would rather shoot this than factory new ammo. In my opinion worth the $5 to get in the door
Fox valley makes great ammo and they have a really nice shop and range i visit them frequently
I go to thisshow all the time. Good location. Plenty of parking . Friendly people. Great variety of stuff. Good prices. Almost always find what I am looking for. 5 stars.
Very few guns same old over priced vendors.
1) Glock 19 Gen 4 ~$500 $25/ box for ammo
2) Buy in your home state
3) Take a safety class
Good show variety of product, the best gun deals are from the private sellers, the dealers that attend just bring the junk that do not move on the store but they keep the gun prices same as the store, but you can generally deals on stuff that you do not even need, I generally go see not looking for something special, but always buy something that I may not even need until summer like targets bags etch
Danny’s shows are pretty the gold-standard of shows.
Usually the same vendors, same group, etc. Sounds boring, but they ARE reliable.
I make a point of going to this gun show almost every time it’s in Crown Point.
Most vendors are very friendly and knowledgeable and there is always something
new to learn from people you meet there. Also you can get a good deal on more than
just firearms. There’s usually more than a few knife vendors where you can get a deal
on hard to find knives. Get a custom holster made while you wait, pick up a range bag,
scope, tactical flash light, the list is too long to remember. Check it out, you won’t be
sorry you went.
