It’s a good show, I always go to see old friends and maybe make some new ones! As for the booths with things other than guns and knives I would rather see them enter the 2nd Amendment world and see for themselves just how wonderful we really are, rather than empty tables!
Unlike Fred Mertz, I found the gun show to be alright, lots of good people, some overpriced, but that is at EVERY gun show. Went home with a nice quality skeet gun at a fair price. As for the amount of other merchandise, well, if you don’t like it – walk on by. I liked the different things, and although not every vendor had fire arms for sale, there were many other cool products, and yes I even knocked out some Christmas shopping with some T-shirts and other different things. For a moment I had a flashback of little Rickie’s non stop crying……

I am sick of these shows in Abilene. Every time, they are worse.
The hardest thing to find at these shows is guns and half of what there is are the most unremarkable (and grossly overpriced) of new guns.
With all the jewelry, crystal balls, quilts, political tables, and every other kind of nonsense having nothing to do with guns, it is genuinely difficult to determine if this is really a gun show. I went to buy and found NOTHING worth buying.
The only thing worse is the garage sale where the old lady thinks there is a market for her old, worn out underwear. Gun shows are for GUNS, not handbags and dolls and everything else but! And strangely, all you have to do to fix the problem is learn to say, “NO!!!!”
